FALL MEET OCTOBER 10 - 12 2025

My name is Allison Christensen. My dad, Paul Christensen, and I are planning the fall Jeepster meet in Winona, MN. I have some added information I would like to share with you about our Fall Meet Plans; Dates: Oct. 10-12 in Winona, MN Hotel: Room block reserved at The Plaza Hotel & Suites Oct. 9-12 1025 Hwy 61 E, Winona, MN 55987 Ask for the “MJA" room block when reserving your room. Book your room by Sept 9 to be included in the room block. Reservations call 507-453-0303.
Friday, Oct 10
- Enjoy the hotel's continental breakfast
- 8:45am - leave hotel
- 9am - Stop at Bloedow's Bakery, Winona's famous donut shop since 1924
- 9:30am - Stop at St. Stanislaus Basilica, which is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Self-
guided tour and invocation by Paul Christensen.
- 10:30am-12:30pm - Attend auction at Remlinger Collector Car Museum, one of the Midwest's largest
auctions of collector cars, muscle cars and vintage motorcycles. The museum will have a group of
parking spots reserved for our group. Food and beverages available for purchase inside the auction.
- 1pm - Leave the auction, cross the historic Winona Bridge into Wisconsin for a scenic cruise to Wing
haven Pizza Farm in Galesville, WI. This route will take us on winding roads through Winona's
stunning bluff country.
- 2pm - Arrive at Winghaven Pizza Farm for homemade stone-fired pizzas, a variety of local wines and
ciders, and beautiful views of the valley.
- Optional - 1/2 mile down the road from the Pizza Farm is Ferguson's Apple Orchard, Country Store and
Bakery.
- 4pm - Take Highway 35 back to Winona (30-minute drive to hotel)
- Optional stop on the way back - Elmaro Vineyard. Just 12 minutes from Winghaven Pizza Farm on the
other side of Highway 35. Excellent local wine, meat & cheese boards, and views.
- Dinner on your own. We will provide a list of our favorite spots. The hospitality room at the hotel will
be open from 5pm-10pm. Remember, bring your favorite treat to share!
Saturday, Oct 11
- Enjoy the hotel's continental breakfast
- 9am - leave hotel. Cross the Winona Bridge again and enjoy a scenic 30-minute cruise to Elmer's Auto &
Toy Museum in Fountain City, WI. After the passing of Elmer, some of the collection has been sold
but we drove through it this weekend and there is still A LOT to see.
- 10:30am - Leave Elmer's. 1.5-hour cruise through bluff country to Nelson, WI. The scenery on this drive
is incredible. It feels like driving through a state park. I can't imagine how gorgeous it will be in the fall!
- 12pm - Lunch at J&J BBQ in Nelson, WI - the Best BBQ on the River!
- 2pm - Cross the Wabasha-Nelson Bridge into Wabasha, MN. Guided tour of the National Eagle Center, a
beautiful facility right on the Mississippi River. After the tour of the Eagle Center, take Highway 61
back to Winona, a 40-minute drive.
- 6pm - Banquet Dinner & Meeting at The Plaza Hotel & Suites (in the hospitality room). Dinner details
